What A Good Mascot Can Do


We really like the energy and commitment of Sparty from Michigan State. Hopefully our new Pioneer Mascot will bring this level of excitement to DU.

We're still waiting for the 2nd drawing from the mascot company, but we have $4,000 in the bank and over $1,200 is en route to us. Thanks to everyone who has contributed thus far.

    We were supposed to get it on Tuesday. We were told it would be delayed yesterday. Are desperate to see it today (Friday).

    anyone see today's (February 20) rocky mountain news article about South High School's mascot? apparently their mascot is not inclusive enough either.

    Interesting article and thanks for posting the link.

    At least at South high school the students decided the issue as opposed to DU where administration picked Ruckus and then 10 years later squashed Boone.
