(above) DU grad student Jason Lundberg reports on Facebook that many DU students are wearing "Denver" gear this Fall on campus. Could school spirit be on the upswing?
not to be negative but I'm also a grad student, and i think they gave DU shirts to the incoming freshmen for orientation. undergrad doesn't start till next week
Yeah, I noticed that too. But whatever, this school is still awesome.
On a spirit note, I'd really like to hear some folks SING the fight song as opposed to hearing that music-only thing they play on the scoreboard. Who's with me?
They did... but, that doesn't negate the fact that the first year students made me wonder how if only 1/4 of the population would wear something DU branded everyday - much like you see Duke or NC gear on campus - what an effect that could have on school spirit.
