Seeing Cody DePourcq with the Penticton Vees against the Salmon Arm Silver Backs tonight in Penticton, BC, should be interesting...
ReplyDeleteMario Lucia and Steven Fogarty also in the lineup
Boy...9PM game time...pretty late for an old guy in Section 1. Gonna try to stay up and watch the whole thing. Go DU...we need wins this weekend as we have some heavy hitters coming the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you complaining about, it starts at 11PM here for me ;-)
ReplyDeleteRight on DUCC Dad; every game from tonight on out need to be treated as a playoff game. It's go time.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone able to see this on video?
ReplyDeleteI am getting audio but video is more of a slide show instead of live action video.
ReplyDeleteJeff
no video for me either... anybody having any luck?
ReplyDeleteI don't even get that, just a bunch of letters. -- chase

nothing ... I use a mac, maybe that's the issue .. got it on radio ... score, up 1-0 -- chase
ReplyDeleteI've got audio and video, but for whatever reason, there's no scoreboard on the broadcast...?
ReplyDeleteAlso, who scored?
denver
ReplyDeleteLet's go boys! We need these points.
ReplyDeleteLoney got the first goal with assists to Goal Czar, Didier & Ryder
ReplyDeletenick shore .. 2-1
ReplyDelete2-0 sorry ... misprint
ReplyDelete2-0 DU.
ReplyDeleteNick Shore with the second goal.
crap .. now it IS 2-1, AK scores
ReplyDeleteFor discussion ... Is Murray the second goalie anymore? Or do we need to suggest he is number three?
ReplyDeleteSince he's starting tonight, Murray is #1.
ReplyDeletedrew shore ... now up 3-1
ReplyDeletethe Goal Czar scores .. DU up 4-1
ReplyDeleteGood times.
ReplyDeleteGoal Czar having a big game.
Nice win tonight 4-2. Ty Looney & Goal Czar +3 for the game.
ReplyDeleteGot to love the Pairwise Rankings. DU wins and drops two spots.
Just have to keep winning.
For anybody that may be interested about Cody DePourcq:
ReplyDeleteHe plays a similar style to that of a Luke Zalazar, scrappy, and edgy, and has to earn every inch. He's very undersized and was mismatched in several moments throughout Penticton's 9-2 win over Salmon Arm.
He is solid on faceoff's, as he was about 65% for the night on draws, but he gets muscled out anywhere close to the cage. Though he is the youngest player on the team, he needs at LEAST 2 more years prior to becoming any sort of contributing factor. I project Cody as a bottom 6 guy with a Salazar type potential to hit top 6 if he finds a way to get stronger. Fa s in Penticton are still drooling over Joey Leleggia....I will be attending Friday's matchup against Chilliwauk
Also, Minnesota and Notre Dame are in solid shape next season with the Reilly's (the U) and Lucia and Fogarty (ND).....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on Cody. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteTwo DU Freshmen have been huge during the recent winning streak.
Ty Loney has 5 goals & 5 assists in the past six games.
Joey Laleggia has 3 goals and 10 assists in the past seven games.
According to the DU web site, Britain is starting in goal tonight and Mermis is back in. I hope the connection is better tonight. Last night I couldn't even keep audio and went to bed after the 2nd period.
