  1. With the use of that incredibly offensive image of Boone, I will be amazed to see even one student or alumni in attendance at any of these events. Right? right? Hello? Anybody?

  2. If you can read this you probably didn't go to UND.

    ReplyDelete
  3. The Men's Basketball schedule has this Sunday's game as 1:00. Do you know if it has been changed?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Nice catch.

Men's basketball starts at 1 PM

Women's basketball starts at 3:30 PM.

I notified the students of the errors.

  5. "If you can read this you probably didn't go to UND" is probably one of the funniest things I've read in a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I can't wait for the weekend to start. The only question is how much coin I'll be dropping at the beer stands.

  7. Michigan Lacrosse team is in town. Just saw them at a hotel in the Tech Center

    ReplyDelete
  8. I would urge anyone that hears either a sioux fan or DU fan complete the National Anthem with "home of the sioux" or "home of the pioneer" to say something to those individuals.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Miller is in a feisty mood already. This could get ugly night.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I got into last time with some ND fans, Old Pio and I are more than ready to do battle. Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I would urge anyone that hears either a sioux fan or DU fan complete the National Anthem with "home of the sioux" or "home of the pioneer" to wait until they sit down and then kick them in the back of the head.

I bet you'd rather sit in front of Miller.

  12. You sound like the Izzy Mandelbaum character(Lloyd Bridges) from Seinfeld.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Miller & Old Pio,

Do they make depends now that will last an entire hockey game?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lol. Izzy Mandelbaum. I would like to see Miller and Old Pio "take it up a notch". "Mandelbaum...Mandelbaum...Mandelbaum"

    :-)

  15. I watched the UND practice at Magness yesterday, and they seemed pretty loose...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Also DU Lax plays Robert Morris on Sunday at 1:30 PM at Barton.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's black Friday at Magness arena today. The facility actually will turn a profit because of all the UND fans invading. Make sure to thank the Sioux fans when you see them in the concourse.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No one ever said, we don't want UND fans to come into Magness and drop all their cash.

What we don't want is some UND fan to win the 50/50 Raffle and then wire the money back to North Dakota so the relatives can buy tires for the double-wide and tow it to Colorado.

    ReplyDelete
  19. You do realize that North Dakota is coming to town, not North Carolina right? You're confusing the upper midwest with the deep south. Not surprising?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thankfully, most of their double wides are on blocks. Come to think of it, so are most of their cars.

  21. http://www.census.gov/compendia/statab/2012/ranks/rank38.html

You sound less intelligent with every post Millsy.

  22. As an alumni of the University of North Dakota, and a proud Denver resident I am pumped up for this weekend. Good luck to both teams. Lets keep the "battles" on the ice tonight and tomorrow.

    Go Sioux!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Saw a dude earlier with several teeth missing, a Cat Diesel Power hat, bangin mullet, and a handle of Moonshine. I went up and introduced myself and it turned out be the Gov of NoDak. Swell dude.

    ReplyDelete
  24. North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation. Which is a sharp contrast to the wellfare state/sanctuary city Denver is turning in to. At the game tonight....shake a Sioux fan's hand and thank him for the oil. In the "battle" tonight my money is on the NoDak fan with a mullet over the snotty DU student (wait none of you went to DU) living on mommy and daddy's dime.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Apparently one thing they don't have in ND is a spelling bee. You might want to use spell check in the future (welfare is spelled with one l).

    ReplyDelete
  26. Got it. Ha! Welfare. I haven't been on it like half of the Denver metro, so I guess I don't know how to spell it. Interesting as to how you guys describe UND fans when half of you will be driving from Aurora to watch the game. Glad you agree with my post though. Rollerblade another lap around Cheesemam.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You know the old saying, you know what the ND grads call the DU grads...wait for it...BOSS.

    And it's Cheesman not Cheesemam.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My DU grad employee thought that was pretty funny.

    ReplyDelete
  29. In all fairness.....yes...I am ND alumn. Yes...I live in Denver and not ND for a reason. Yes DU is a great school. Yes....spelling is not my strong suit. Yes....we both have some of the best hockey programs in the nation. Here is to a great series boys. Good luck this weekend!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oil?? That's what you have to be proud of?? What a loser.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Big talk from a guy who likes to shove fish down his underpants.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Should be an epic series.

Time for the boys to prove which fan base is top dog. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. blah blah, same trash talk as last year, we're dumb hicks your rich a-holes, you guys should get over it and remember last years Final Five... Frattin for the OT winner, and then the playoffs, DU got thumped by 5 or 6 goals. new year same BS, should be a good series.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Miller,

What the he@@ do you do all day? Sit around the office waiting to trash talk with a 20 something college student on the company dime.

    Grow up, my friend.

By the tone of you posts, it's obvious that you're still suffering from chronic constipation.

    More prunes......

    ReplyDelete
  35. I love the North Dakota series...best hockey of the year. I have lots of side bets with family members, who are Sioux fans, riding on this weekend...Go DU!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am retired, clipping coupons my friend, living the good life a DU education affords you!

    ReplyDelete
  37. If Miller hears a sux fan complete the National Anthem with "home of the sioux" he may assault them with his squid.

Not so safe sitting in front of Miller now.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Got my steel toed boots on - going to the game.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anyone who yells over the last line of the National Anthem is an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  40. That was the most despicable period of hockey I think I've ever seen du play...at least, at magness.

I'm embarrassed that this game is on national TV.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey. For the first 8 minutes of that period, I wasn't embarassed.

The boys rounded nicely into form, though.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks for coming out. Sioux fans appreciate it. 2 points is a succesful weekend. 4-1 or 4-3 we still win

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think that's the worst game I've ever seen DU play, the 1st period was definitely the worst 20 minutes of hockey I've ever watched- should have been down by 3 or 4 goals.

The comeback was almost comical. Of course we score after it's out of reach. At least there's a glimmer of hope for tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  44. A truly pitiful effort on natl tv by the good guys... I didn't think it was possible to play worse than last weekend. I'm hiding under my bed tomorrow night. "Make it stop! Make it stop!" ...but at least I don't have to live in Grand Forks. (I feel better now)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Who are the leaders on this team?? Seriously. Who are they??

    ReplyDelete
  46. Unbelievable! The first period was Sammy vs the Sioux. We showed some life in the 2nd but the Sioux wanted this one a lot more than our boys did.

    ReplyDelete
  47. 4 shots in the 1st period! And I think that was generous!

    ReplyDelete
  48. At least we can look forward to LAX and BB the rest of the season.

There is more to DU than just hockey.

    ReplyDelete
  49. With the exception of Ryder and Mayfield, the defensemen wouldn't or couldn't deliver a check. When pressured, they'd cough it up giving ND opportunities.

BOTH of our goalies had to make saves against our own defensemen. Brittain deserved better. He played his a$$ off.

    ReplyDelete
  50. John Lee has coughed up the puck so many times this season it's absurd. All from the corner behind the goal to the goalie's right. CC and UAH GWG's were directly a result of him coughing up the puck there. The whole team was doing it tonight.

Lee's had a quietly terrible year. There always seems to be one d-man that just doesn't have it every season. 2 years ago it was Phillips, who really turned it around. Donovan did it last year- he was directly responsible for at least half a dozen breakaway goals (I know, nobody realizes this and everyone thinks that Donovan was amazing, but maybe I'm crazy). This year it's John I'm afraid. Not that anyone was singlehandedly responsible tonight, just an observation on the season after a brutal game.

  51. That hit on Tabrum was scary, left me breathless until he got up. All I could think was great here we go again. Was glad to see him back in the game though later.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think the National Anthem outcry is anything to be upset over. Do I like it? No. Do I like UND? No. But, have you ever been to Reunion Arena or American Airlines Center in Dallas? They do the same, only louder......and the fans love it. I guess it is worse when 'sooo' isn't actually a lyric. Whereas 'stars' IS.

    ReplyDelete
  53. "I'm gonna talk to some people..."

    Miller is an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Another option ....is for the arena audio guy or girl, to "mysteriously" some how experience a sudden, brief and unexpected volume spike at the end of the Anthem. They gotta have an awesome PA in that place.... crank those amps up and shake the roof when the singer says Of The Braaaave.....
    Drown out those greentards

    ReplyDelete
  55. What's with all the empty seats last night? Was that the Crimson weekend?? Last night Magness Arena was truely the home of the SIOUX!! Stop worrying about the National Anthem, and worry about filling the seats. DU fans are pathetic. You have one of the top programs in NCAA hockey. Act like it! I knew there were going to be a lot of Sioux fans but wow!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Time for Miller to break out the squid!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Is there room for a squid in a pair of depends?

    ReplyDelete
  58. When a Sue player gets ejected, do they just automatically break thier stick in anger, in the hallway coming off the ice? They must coach it and practice it, because they do it every single time. The shareholders at Easton and Bauer thank you, Hackstol and Eades!
