  4. Is anyone planning to stop by and see me at FedEx office on their way down? I'm just trying to get a headcount. I think we had about 5 or 6 last time.

  7. I don't know if the womens soccer is actually on the Pac 12 network, but it's streaming here. Maryland up 1-0 in first half. DU controlling much possession, but early defensive breakdown led to Maryland goal. DU hanging in there. http://pac-12.com/live/gostanford.aspx?DB_OEM_ID=18600

  9. 1-0 at half. Kind of a mixed bag. DU looks equal to Maryland for the most part, but Maryland is a little more focused up front, and has generated the better chances. Could have been 2-0 if DU goalie didn't make a great save on a breakaway. We'll see what the 2nd half brings. I have the feeling team that scores next will win it.

  10. Yep, like I said, Maryland better up front. 2-0 with a nice strike. DU on the ropes, will need to really push forward and hope for a break.

  11. Sweet. DU scores off a set play. 2-1 now. Maybe about 15-20 minutes left? Go Pioneers, get the equalizer.

  12. Unbelievable. About 15 seconds left in the game, DU gets a penalty kick. Ties it 2-2. Looks like we're going to OT!

  15. And where is the tool that said Maryland is a far superior team??? Wow, what a gutsy effort by DU to win this game. For the first time in DU women's soccer history--2 NCAA wins, and on to the Sweet 16. Great job!

  18. Peg, bring those gals out on the ice tomorrow night between the 1st and 2nd period. They deserve it with their herioc playing.

  19. CC faithful as usual lobbying hard for a 2 minute minor for "making contact with a CC player"

  20. DU WINS!!!! Whata good fight at the end..can't wait for tomorrow night, CC SUCKS!!

  21. They can't bring the girls out on the ice yet because they need to stay at Stanford to play again on Sunday,

  22. So, as I read the box score, Jussi and Rylan each with a DQ- Jussi for fighting and Schwartz for contact to the head. As I understand it, those are automatic 1 game suspensions. If so, that means no Schwartz tomorrow night, which would be a huge loss for the Tigers.

  23. Seems like Jussi and Rylan Schwartz will be suspended for tomorrow's game.

  24. does anybody have a link or youtube clip of the fight at the end of the game? I live in Florida and couldn't get the game.

  25. Wow what a bummer, we were planning on having Jussi in goal tomorrow. Ha ha. If its true that those two are out, its awful sad for the kitties. They are pretty much a one man team.

  26. Avalanche announcers Peter McNab, Mike Haynes and Kyle Keefe were in the booth for Altitude Sports on Friday night. They told media members they were thrilled to finally be calling a hockey game again.
