DU Hoops @ New Mexico State On ESPN-U

WAC STANDINGS
The University of Denver men's basketball team has ripped off seven straight victories in conference play.  On Wednesday night they travel to New Mexico State for a nationally televised game on ESPN-U.

The tip-off is at 9 PM MT which must be past the Aggies bed time because they are encouraging their students to wear pajamas to the game.

    Hmmm.

    WAC Basketball Tournament roadtrip in March suddenly sounds more appealing with DU on a roll.

    It looks like only the automatic qualifier will make it. Based on RPI's, Denver is 110, Utah State is 90 and NM State is 97. It will be winner take all in Las Vegas!

    We may have lost but three data points will tell you why. We were fouled four times and we were called for fouls 18 times. We were 3-18 from beyond the arc. We had 18 turnovers. It is a miracle we stayed as close as we did with our strong defense. On our home court or neutral court (Las Vegas), I would pick Denver to win big time...
