DG Talks About Boone On Edmonton's 1260 AM

The Pipeline Show hosted by Dean Millard & Guy Flaming interviews top hockey prospects including many current and former Pioneers. On Tuesday night they quizzed DG on the "Boone Issue," DU's co-eds and even managed a little hockey talk.

    DG, you really give alumni a reason to stay supportive of DU. In my opinion, the school has done a horrible job of connecting alumni with students and tends to take a money-hungry approach to giving back. This blog and everything everyone here stands for beats a blank check any day.

    Doesn't DU only pay their Chancellors a dollar a year? That's the second lowest salary on campus ahead of only the hockey blogger.

    Coombe needs to apologize to the Alumni for his letter, make a solid effort to Bring Back Boone starting with the Colorado License Plates and give free Gold Club Memberships to all the hockey fans who watch the games in Section 18.

    But seriously, we enjoyed getting more insight into everything down there. With so many Oiler prospects passing through in the last few years, Denver has been a program we've followed a lot and it's good to hear more and more.
