Soccer Team Secures a Bye and Home Match


LetsGoDU attended the NCAA Men's Soccer tournament selection show watch party today at the Crimson & Gold Tavern. The Pioneers secured the #13 overall seed, a first-round bye, and will play the winner of the SMU-Utah Valley match on Sunday at CIBER field at 5:00 p.m. MT.

The early weather forecast for Denver looks good with clear skies and a high of 48 degrees for Sunday.

    Big Day in DU sports history.

    DU's last NCAA tournament victory was in the 1970 NCAA Far West Regional, when DU beat San Jose State ,2-1 before losing to UCLA, 3-1 two days later.

    Forty-five years between NCAA tourney wins is too long.
