After a best ever record of 47-23-1 in regular season, the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League were upset in the first round of the WHL playoffs by Seattle.
T.J. Fast who joined the team in mid-season from the University of Denver ended up with 3 goals and 19 assists in 26 games.
However in the playoffs, Fast mirrored his teams performance and recorded only 1 assist in 6 games and ended up -5 for the series against Seattle.
No word yet of T.J.'s plans for next season. He is eligible to return to the Americans as an "overage" player, but the team is limited to three such players, so he could also be traded to another team in the WHL or pursue his professional hockey career, if the LA Kings are interested.
