In Friday Night's 3-1 win over Notre Dame, DU switched up the offensive lineup and seemed to cut down on the defensive miscues that plagued their Penalty Kill unit on Thursday night. Rhett Rakhshani was moved onto the first line with Tyler Ruegsegger and Anthony Maiani. All three players ended up +2 for the evening.
Kyle Ostrow saw his first action on one of the top two lines, teaming up fellow Canadians Tyler Bozak and Brock Trotter. Tom May appeared to have another strong game playing alongside Jesse Martin and Brian Gifford.
The defense was largely unchanged except that Chris Nutini saw action in place of Julian Marcuzzi. Nutini responded with a huge goal 15 minutes into the first period. Chris Butler was steady as always and was the only defenseman +2 for the evening.
Peter Mannino was strong as always in the net.
