As DU readies to play Notre Dame tonight in South Bend, Indiana who knew that the starting time would be such a mystery?
It turns out that part of Indiana is in the Central Time Zone (geographically the entire state should be CST but thats another matter), but much of the state is in the Eastern Time Zone.
Easy enough right?
Well not exactly. It turns out that not every county in the state recognizes Daylight Savings Time.
Below is the "explaination" of the map above:
We're pretty sure South Bend is in the Eastern Time Zone and the game starts at 7:35 EST, 6:35 CST, 5:35 MST & 4:35 PST, but we wouldn't bet on it.

Below is the "explaination" of the map above:
Counties of Indiana. Red observed DST before 2006, as did orange (although unofficially); all observe DST since 2006. On April 2, 2006, purple were moved to Central time to join red; blue and orange stayed on Eastern time. Pulaski County, colored purple on the map, was, however, moved back to Eastern time on March 11, 2007.What? My head hurts from reading that.

Actually, we are still in Daylight Saving time right now.
Ok. So it is more confusing.
I'll edit the article.
