RETURN: Sophomore forwards Rhett Rakhshani and Tyler Ruegsegger were expected to return to the country Sunday after helping lead the U.S. into the semifinals of the World Junior Hockey Championships in the Czech Republic.

Gwozdecky said he expects the two to be ready when DU resumes Western Collegiate Hockey Association play against a reeling Wisconsin team on Friday at Magness Arena. For the next few days, though, Gwozdecky doesn't want to even see the high-scoring duo.

"I told those guys there needs to be decompression time after they get back, from a physical standpoint and especially a mental standpoint," Gwozdecky said. "For at least two, three days, they have to be regular students. I told them to stay away from the rink unless they want to stop by and say hi."
