Glenn Fisher Signs AHL Contract For Next Season

DU alum Glenn Fisher, who played goal in Stockton in the East Coast League last season, has signed an AHL contract for the 2008-09 season. He'll attend the Edmonton Oilers prospect camp this summer.

Fisher was selected in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2002 NHL Draft by Edmonton. He was named DU's Most Valuable Player as a 2006-07 senior with a career-low 2.32 GAA.

He will be in the ECHL soon. Maybe he and hack boy Mannino can play together.

Congratulations to Fisher. Good luck to him.

12:50....who do you root for, homeboy? Weren't you told earlier to get a job? Nevertheless, DU fans welcome your comments and insights....we like to laugh at trolls.

wow, can't believe this is happening. Springfield's in trouble now. He won't play considering the Falcons have Drouin-Deslauriers and Devan Dubnyk.
