The Capital Times WCHA Media Poll picked DU to finish 3rd in the regular season and predicted that DU Freshman Joe Colborne would be WCHA Rookie of the Year.
"Denver's Joe Colborne, a first-round pick of the NHL's Boston Bruins this year, won a close race for the top rookie honor. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound forward was the Canadian Junior A Player of the Year last season, when he put up 90 points in 55 games."Tyler Bozak was received two votes for player of the year, but trailed far behind CC's Chad Rau who garnered 14 votes.
