DU Volleyball To Open SBC Playoffs Today

(above) The sun, the sand & the surf await DU's Women's Volleyball team in Miami this weekend

Edit: DU lost to Western Kentucky 3-0

The No. 3 seeded Pioneers begin Sunbelt Conference Championship action today against No. 6 Western Kentucky in Miami, Fla. The match begins at 5:30 p.m. (MT) and if Denver advances it will face the winner of the No. 2 Middle Tennessee versus No. 7 Arkansas State match on Friday at 5:30 p.m. (MT)

I've made it to a few of these games this year. These ladies play with a lot of heart and enthusiasm! They are the definition of team!!

I can't claim typo since it was misspelled throughout the site. What can I say? I'm a DU grad. :)

Our favorite soccer player was named 2nd team academic All-America.

DU never does well in the league tourney because it's always during finals week...No other SBC team has that distraction...

DU signed their biggest recruit ever this week. A girl from Brooklyn who can flat out fly. I'll link her video next week.

Guessing we'll see volleyball join some of our other teams in the NCAA's soon.
