Minnesota State On Lookout For "Pervert Fan"

(left) DU hockey players are advised not to accept $20 bills from Mankato hockey fans this weekend

From: Sports by Brooks.com

MY FOX TWIN CITIES reports that police in Mankato, Minnesota are looking for Tavo Ray Bowman, who gave an 11-year-old boy a $20 bill and asked him to pull his pants down before a Minnesota State-Mankato hockey game last Friday night.

The kid was smart: he took the $20 but ran back inside the restaurant he was at to tell his dad what had happened. Needless to say, Dad wasn’t too happy and went outside to confront Bowman, who took off running into the Mankato skyway.

As further proof that Bowman isn’t the most subtle of potential child molesters, the whole thing was caught on not one but two security cameras.

Bowman wouldn't tell The Free Press of Mankato where he was, but says his probation officer had given him permission to leave the state for work. You'll enjoy reading some of Mr. Bowman's other brushes with the law which are detailed in his 2005 appeal of a conviction.

Authorities have issued a national arrest warrant looking for Bowman, who they believe has fled the state. Meanwhile, we’re missing the bigger point here: Will DU expose Minnesota State's defense this weekend?

I guess this guy thought what happens in the skyway stays in the skyway...

This guy needs to make a date with Senator Craig.

Yo Tavo: for a good time go to the crapper at the Minneapolis airport.

Can't wait to hear what this guy did to be on probation in the first place.

Fifth-degree possession of controlled substance otherwise known as intent to sell drugs.

Chances are he wasn't a hockey fan. He was in the skyway between the hotel and the Alltel, right in front of the strip joint. Don't be claiming he's one of ours!!

Anon- um, go check your MN statutes again...not correct at all. Possession is possession...then there's sale, then there's possession with intent to sell....three very different classifications. A 5th degree would mean he was possessing a scheduled drug that's illegal, such as Meth or Cocaine.

Also, what's your excuse for not making the trip to Kato this weekend?!? This guy? :)

I didn't have $20, so I knew that Mankato wouldn't be much fun without it.

Maybe I'll make it to the Final 5 this year. See you there.
