Well, even though it's "just the ECHL" you have to be happy for Tom.
The dude has the size and skill to be a very good player but his head never was completely into the game. Quite an enigma he was while at DU.
May's game winning goal against the Gophers in the WCHA Championship Game last season was one on the Top 10 biggest goals for DU in the past 20 years.
Always good to see an alum do well. He is in an organization that needs players and is going with a youth movement based upon speed.
Congratulations to May. That is great to hear.
I always thought he had a lot of ability but was an underachiever here at DU. He was a big strong kid with good hands, a great wrist shot, and the ability to be a solid power forward. He did score some big goals while here but I thought he had the potential to have a much more illustrious career.
