After getting waxed in the first two games of their playoff series with the Brooks Bandits, the Camrose Kodiaks fought back with a 5-3 victory last night. DU recruit Shawn Ostrow was kept off the scoresheet, but still has 7 points in 7 playoff games for Camrose. The Kodiaks trail the best of seven series two games to one.

DU recruit Matt Donovan (17-23-40) is tearing up the USHL for the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders. Donovan scored last Friday night to set a new team single season record for points by a defenseman, breaking the old record set by Shane Lovdahl, who totaled 39 in 2004-05. Donovan leads all USHL defensemen in goals and points.

I hope Donovan has a great slap shot form the point. Remember Lindsay Thompson and his shot?
I do and Greg Woods wasn't too shabby either.
