Its going to come down to the Freestyle Cross County Skiing on Saturday to decide the NCAA Skiing Championships. Denver sits in 2nd place in a three way battle for the title with Vermont and New Mexico. DU is looking to win a record 20th title.

The three points separating the top three teams represents the closest heading into the final two events in the NCAA Championships since the sport went coed in 1983.

DU alpine head coach Andy LeRoy said, “Tomorrow is going to be interesting. It should be a good battle because the top five teams all have the talent to win and are close enough to make a run at it. We are looking to our Nordic skiers to defend the championship, and they have been our strongest performers all season.”
