It's only a matter of time before Obama gets wind of this and wants a photo with Boone.
What's more American than a Pioneer? HELL YEAH!
This is a victory for the forces of action over inaction.
The thing that is so amazing about this story is how a small group of students and alumni can pull together and do something really positive for school spirit for DU.
Those "naysayers" out there who stood in the way of Boone have just offered opinions, and have shown NO designs or even sketches of their own. They haven't been at all constructive about the future.
Those of you who have been a part of this mascot effort shows us the power of action. This thing is coming to life right before our eyes.
I wish I was there instead of in class.
