I remember this jersey from the 70's and as much as I would hope that I could bring myself to favor them, I couldn't then and I can't now. They were silly then and they still look silly. I remember Coach A hated them with a passion (along with the friggin painted rainbow) as did the players. Why not work on something with the "Denver" logo or even "D" like the University of Minnesota has?

A DU student just made some mock-ups that are kind of cool.
When I went to DU in the '80s the uni's looked like Ronald McDonald.
The "throwback jerseys" the team will wear this season look pretty good. I'll try to find a photo from someone at DU.
That is the 1977-78 season jersey that Doug is wearing when he wore the "A" in his junior year.
