The University of Denver has been ranked No. 1 in the first USCHO.com/CBS College Sports Division I Men's Hockey Poll, released today. The Pioneers received 873 points and 20 first-place votes to earn the top ranking.
Defending NCAA champion Boston University is second, followed by Michigan, Miami and Notre Dame. North Dakota, Cornell, Yale, Minnesota and Princeton round out the top-10.
Denver is also the preseason No. 1 team in the College Hockey News poll and is ranked No. 2 in the preseason USA Today/College Hockey Magazine Poll.
