(above) Former DU Chancellor Dan Ritchie tries his hand at rapping
Stick with this YouTube because if you know Dan, like we know Dan. Perhaps, we don't really know Dan.
Ritchie has served as Chairman/CEO of The Denver Center for the Performing Arts since January 2007. He was Chancellor of the University of Denver from 1989 to 2005 and served as DU’s Chairman of the Board from 2005 to 2007.

Ma nizzle.
Apalling.
Really.
And this guy found Boone offensive? How would something like this go over with the micro-aggression fanatics that find just about everything offensive.
Shall we count the stereotypes?

I love to see hypocrisy in action.
I just died a little inside.
Bill,
Great point. :-)
It was just as good as anything M&M ever did.
I totally forgot about the stereotypical use of the sports jersey and the multiple finger ring.
To the PC police isn't this akin to someone being in black face? This is directly offensive compared to Boone which requires multiple leaps to get to the so called offensive nature of Boone.
Thank you former Chancellor Do As I Say Not As I Do.
Bill,
I'm sure you're being a bit facetious but isn't invoking political correctness to support your Boone viewpoint a bit hypocritical when Boone supporters have constantly decried it's use?
Rap isn't the domain of any one race. It was successfully co-opted from "black culture" by other races and their use of it is considered appropriate by mostly everyone.
At times you guys seem to suffer from collective amnesia. if it was not for Chancellor Ritchie DU may not be around today let alone have a 1st rate university, hockey program, etc. You all do know that the school was truly on the verge of bankruptcy in the late 70's - early 80's. Those of us who attended back then or taught at DU at the time know how serious the situation was. DU is the great institution that it is today mainly because of the Chancellor's efforts and his incredible fundraising starting with him "betting the ranch" on DU. The video is tongue in cheek so don't get your panties in a wad overanalyzing it.
Ritchie's a living legend.
This video was not his finest hour.
i think coombe daddy needs to respond to this, with a equally as thug rap.
coombe vs ritchie
reminiscent of tupac vs biggie
i would let ritchie make it rain on me any day of the week.
