DU holds on and gets the win. SCSU played scrappy hockey all night and stayed in the game when DU should have been able to knock them out.

DU won this game with some fine pieces of skill tonight - some of the DU goals were masterworks, and Chevy, who didn't have a great night, made the one big save in the third.

DU is going to need to find a way to slow down SCSU through the neutral zone if the want to sweep tomorrow.

DU had some great sequences tonight to power them to a win. They got lazy in the 2nd and were outworked by the Huskies and suddenly found themselves in a dogfight, after coasting to a 4-1 lead. But they found a way to get that 5th goal on a great effort by Donovan.

Great to see Knowlton get his first DU goal.

Hopefully another 2 points tomorrow.

Anybody know what happened to Rhett? In the second he go hurt during the shift that SC got their 2nd goal and didn't return until about 7 minutes into the third.

Special thanks to those folks who took it upon themselves to relocate to the student section. In the 1st period I thought it was physically roped off or blocked. Hope they can fill it up and bring in the hot dog-buyers for the Colorado College game.
