This has nothing to do with this post, but it would be nice if some of the players would blog on the site, or maybe they do as Anonymous
Most likely the players are banned from posting on this site, USCHO and other message boards.
Zach Blom was suspended a couple of seasons ago for posting something on Facebook.
A football player was kicked off the team at Texas Tech earlier this season for tweetering some comments about his coach after a loss to Houston.
DU has rules about when and where the media can contact the players and they must set up appointments with DU's Sports Information Department.
The NCAA also has very strict rules about contacting players and especially recruits. As an alum and a donor to the Athletic Department contacting a potential recruit could be seen as illegal recruiting.
Long and the short of it is that the players would rather be emailing 20 year old co-eds than blogging with 40 year old alums. Come to think of it, i'd rather be emailing 20 year old co-eds as well. :-)
I believe that the picture on the Inside College Hockey site is Dusty Jackson (with part of his #8 folded under).
It sure doesn't look like Rakhshani.
