It's nice for recruiting I guess, but I'd rather be #1 on April 11th.

It's just a little easier to play without the target on your back.

the weekend against wisconsin is gonna be huge with the current #1 and #4 pairwise teams playing each other.

It's cool to be #1, but I thought #2 was a happy, more comfortable place to be...

I think I asked this on the USCHO forums last year, but I think the average PWR ranking going into the tournament for a national champion is something between 3-4?

Like Swami said, it's nice that people are talking about us... and maybe; just maybe we'll get some media respect in the east.... maybe; ..... but April is a LONG ways away still. Good for us though

We are going to have a decent sized turnout for the DU vs. Wisc. series, with alumni from Chicago and other cities too. If you are able to come for this weekend series, it will be a great time! Contact Adam Gunzberg (DU Class of 1993) at duchicagoalumni@sbcglobal.net for details.

There should be 50+ DU fans in Madtown in two weeks. With a Bye next week, DU should still be #1 in the country heading into the series.

Airfares from Denver to Milwaukee are still $169 RT and rental cars are available on Hotwire for under $15 per day. Rooms at the Sheraton in Madison are $59 per night on Hotwire.

Don't miss out on the trip of the season.

Today at the very end of SportsCenter John Buccigross mentioned that there was a new #1 team in College Hockey: Denver. (He didn't say University or Pioneers.)He also cited Miami's shocking losses to Robert Morris. He used this as a lead into a new #1 in college basketball. But it was nice to hear DU mentioned on the big show.
