The Mavs topped the Seawolves 5-2 on Friday and followed it up with a 4-3 victory Saturday.
MSU plays host to the number one ranked Denver Pioneers this weekend looking for their 3rd straight win. The Mavs had a loss and a tie against DU in Colorado back in October and are hoping to find the win column this weekend at the Verizon Wireless Center.
Denver has an amazing goalie in Marc Cheverie who ranks 2nd in country in goals against average. He ranks first in save percentage and first in shutouts. The Mavs are hoping to get on the board early this weekend to shake him up.

The Radio /T.V. guide in the Post shows radio only but in the sports section it shows FSN. Does anyone know how to get the game on T.V.? Is FSN correct?
What's with the story with the purple bull? I've only ever seen 1 other hockey team with a purple bull as thier logo-mascot before - the CHL Fort Worth Brahmas. bruiser is his name - and his color was carefully chosen originally when the Brahmas started up, to pay homage to Texas Christian University, a high-profile college right in the same neighborhood. Really... how and why did Mankato come up with it?
