Those around the Denver hockey program call it the RRC Line, based on the players' last names. Geographically, though, it's the CCC Line — a Coloradan, a Californian and a Canadian.
However you spell it, it's widely considered college hockey's top offensive line. But if senior center Tyler Ruegsegger, senior left wing Rhett Rakhshani and sophomore right wing Joe Colborne don't collectively lead the Pioneers to the Frozen Four, the trio might be remembered more for their playoff failure — perhaps the "Flameout Line?" I vote for disgrace.
I think Scarlett is going to bitch slap Rhett.
Like Herb Brooks said, "If you lose this game, you'll take it to the freakin' grave. Your freakin' grave."
If Kansas and Syracuse can lose, anything can happen...
I don't think Herb used the word "freakin'" ;-)
From Boonetown to Motown via Albany!!!!
GO DU!!!
Beat those Tigers!!!
Just a question to put out there as the tournament begins. If Wisconsin wins will it change college hockey recruiting across the country? Wisconsin's coaches have over-recruited the entire time they have been there: resulting in delaying players(Montpetit,Erstad,Hickey,Barnes,Smi Wiercoch etc.)Forcing players out (Heatley,Auffrey,Slinde,Sawatske,Williams,Bearson,Bardis,Hickey etc) and pushing players to never attend once committed to, (Erstad,Crandall etc.) All to get the line-ups they want. If they are successful will it change recruiting across the country to win titles? Or will the NCAA change the rules to prevent all college programs from developing this "kid in the candy shop" recruitingstyle?
I'll be first to say it..
EPIC CHOKE >.<
