BC Hockey Players Hit Trolley, Hide Booze, Run

From: USCHO.com

Three Boston College hockey players were among those charged after an automobile collided with a trolley, according to reports.

Goaltender Parker Milner and defenseman Philip Samuelsson and Patrick Wey face charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol following the crash, TheBostonChannel.com reported. The three were reported to be among seven in a Jeep Cherokee near midnight Saturday in Brighton, Mass. A trolley operator reported that the car’s driver, 19-year-old Jane Stanton, pulled in front of the trolley and tried to make a U-turn, causing the collision, the website reported.

The trolley operator told police that three of the Jeep’s occupants, including Milner, threw away what looked like alcohol containers before fleeing the scene, according to TheBostonChannel.com. The accident took place at the intersection of South and Commonwealth Ave (read rest of article).

Dg, I love how you are so infatuated with with other school's players getting in trouble. Does this surprise you?.........I'm sure you never drank when you were underage. .........give it a rest.

Hey Anon, notice the label DG puts on this: Bad Boyz. He reports, you decide.

DU plays Boston College on Oct. 15-16 in the 2nd series of the year. If some or all of the players are suspended by Jerry York it might have ramifications for that series.

He doesn't report anything......he copies and pastes what other people report.

Yeah - give it a rest - he just trolls the internet for news and reposts it here. Your ass is on "re-feed." Get used to it!

DG has no life? That's ridiculous.

He is a successful executive who has more fun in a weekend than most people have in a year. Intelligent, confident, articulate and funny, he also runs the best college hockey blog in America and has a huge network of friends and confidants throughout North America.

He has done more to help school spirit at his school than anyone I know. The man is a living legend on campus, and has the respect of players, coaches, news media and fans all over the country.

We'd all be so lucky to have his life.

I'm not saying anything definitively, but I have word from good sources that DG used to operate a trolley car in the late 80's.

If this is true, and the BC players are in fact suspended for the DU series, I tip my hat to you DG.

Wow an anon calling out a blogger for posting something they want to on that blogger's blog. For shame DG!!!

How dare you use YOUR blog as you see fit. Last time I looked BC is a college hockey team, they play DU next season (and are arguably the best team the past 10 yrs). It appears to be worthy college hockey news to me, especially when everyone treats BC like their players are saints.

The new North Dakota of Hockey East? What can New Hampshire or Vermont do to trump this?

Gandalf I wonder if this is UND's fault some how? LOL... I just wonder how they hit a Trolley, they are pretty big, and driver of the Jeep was sober. Something in this story doesn't add up.

Goon-

You said something doesn't add up. Well, that's because you forgot to add a rather important variable... The driver of the Jeep was a woman.

Lol

When I first heard about this... I was like, well what do you know? hockey players get in trouble and they do not go to UND! I, personally question the intelligence of someone who does a U-TURN IN FRONT OF A TROLLEY! That's just plain dumb.

Well now wait a minute; there's MORE to this story than what is being told. Now they're saying that 2 North Dakota players were also invited to paty with them (who knew these guys in the Juniors), but the NoDak guys were too stupid to even get there in the first place. Furthermore, they also invited 2 guys from CC to come & whoop it up..... but those guys didn't even know there was a post season; they thought everybody put away thier gear in February.

anon, I see your point, actually the young woman that was driving the Jeep wasn't drinking according to the media reports. If I was one of their friends I would think twice about getting in a car with here. I think that makes it's more weird because if she can't see a big green trolley car when she is sober, she isn't a very good driver to say the least.

The SUV was crammed full of people which might have affected the driver, too.
