USA Under 18s Defeat Switzerland 5-1

The 2010 USA Men’s National Under-18 Team notched its first victory at the 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Men’s Under-18 Championship with a 5-1 win over Switzerland. DU recruit Jason Zucker scored a goal for the USA.

The tournament is held through April 23 in Minsk and Bobruisk, Belarus. DU recruit Nick Shore also plays for Team USA.

Zucker and Shore are both assitant captains for Team USA.

Kudos to both! Zucker has been there before, but this is Shore's first time representing the USA at this level.

They lost to Sweden 4-2 the day before and are 1-1-0 in the tourney.
