The only surprising omission from the University of Denver's 2010-11 Ice Hockey Roster is third-string goaltender Lars Paulgaard is no longer on the team. He will be replaced by Senior netminder Josh Rosenholtz.
Paulgaard's departure may explain why Nova Scotian goaltender Justin Collier is considering the University of Denver in this newspaper article published last week.
Drew Shore will wear #15 next season and his old #23 will be worn by his younger brother Nick.
Beau Bennett will wear #9, formerly worn by fellow Californians Rhett Rakhshani and Gabe Gauthier for the past eight seasons.
Best wishes to Lars in his future endeavours. He's quite a character and a great individual.

Does anyone know if Paulgaard is still enrolled at DU or has he left the school as well as the team?
Yeah, I met Lars once or twice, and he seemed like a cool dude. Glad he got some playing time while he was at DU, and I wish him good luck.
Wow....only 4 Canadiens. That has to be the fewest ever on a DU roster...
Lars was the biggest prick on the entire hockey team haha. Unfortunately, no we're not going to have anyone with a kate gosselin haircut on our team now.
Interesting comment about the Canadians. Not sure if its because major juniors are siphoning off the best Canadians or the USA is producing better players than ever before.
A few people during the NHL Draft said the USNDP-Under 18 Team was the best ever. Its hard to imagine the US doing better at the Olympics, World Juniors, Under 18 & Under 17's. Three Golds and a Silver.
Doesn't Josh atleast get a number on his jersey?

Probably hasn't been assigned one yet.
Josh will be #28
"Collier is coming to Colorado this summer to train and assist at goalie schools." Sounds like a serious recruit to be.
Collier would be a great addition to the DU roster. He's a great goalie and very humble young man.
Seth Edeen is one of the most athlketic goalies i've ever seen. Need to check him out.
