It's been well over 48 hours since Atlanta Thrashers goalie Ondrej Pavelec collapsed without warning, his head slamming down on the ice with enough force to cause a concussion on Friday night against the Washington Capitals. Puck Daddy has all the info on Pavelec's condition.
DU Alum Peter Mannino of the AHL Chicago Wolves was recalled by the Trashers today to replace Pavelec. Mannino, who saw some brief time with the New York Islanders in 2009, started 12 games in the Calder Cup playoffs last season.
