Wow...What an amazing guy. Just watching the videos gives me the chills. As one of the UND fans that was at the game, we wish Jesse the the best of luck and hope that he continues on a quick path to recovery.
thanks UND student. The good wishes from UND fans has been great. Surrounding this incident, I think UND fans have proven themselves (as a whole) to be a great bunch of hockey fans and more compassionate than I ever gave them credit for. With that said, I do wish the small percentage of UND fans that continually feel the need to argue whether or not a penalty should have been called would just give it up (mainly referencing USCHO here). This is about more than a stupid penalty. Jesse should have died. This isn't about him being potentially paralyzed...he should have died on the ice. We are "lucky" to still have him.
Anonymous, I don't know any UND hockey fans that don't want to see Jesse Martin have a quick and speedy recovery and see him playing hockey again if possible.
From everything I have seen, read and heard Jesse Martin is number one class "A" person.
I know that in the past the two team’s fans bases might not have been the most cordial between each other (see Bina and Pauko incident) but I can assure you that I personally have a lot of respect for the DU fans and their hockey team.
Personally, I would much rather watch DU and UND play hockey than UMN and UND. Heck, DG also is a stand up guy, he sent me a Let’s Go DU hockey shirt for free that I still own it.
I agree with anon 8:32, there are plenty of other calls to argue about. Let’s put this one to rest for the sake of solidarity and for the good of a greater cause, Jesse's will being.
Man, it's great to see him with a hockey stick in his hands (definitely chills), as always get well Jesse!!!

Besides being on FSN Rocky Mountain, the hoops game is also live on FCS Central.
Hockey game will also be on FCS Atlantic on Friday night.
DU Soccer 0-0 at halftime.
DU being out shot 8-1 and UCSB has has 6 corner kicks to none for DU.
Soccer game is 3/4 over and its still tied 0-0. Santa Barbara out shooting DU 11-1 and has hit the post three times.
DU lost in hoops to CSU tonight 77-66.
The soccer game is in Overtime.
UCSB outshot DU 25-4 in regulation at hit the post three times.
0-0 after first 10 minute overtime.
