College Hockey News has an excellent article on University of Denver star forward Drew Shore. Shore is on pace to lead the WCHA in scoring this season, which would be a remarkable improvement from his Freshman season. Although Shore scored a respectable five goals and record fourteen assists last season, his shooting percentage was only 5 percent. In other words he scored on 1 out of every 20 shots.
This season he already has 13 goals and 11 assists and his shooting percentage is over 27 percent or better than 1 goal every 4 shots. Read the CHN article to see how Shore revamped his game.
Shore was also named the Hockey Commissioners' Association National Division I Player of the Month for November.
