Also the DU Hockey Alumni Association will be selling 50-50 Raffle Tickets this weekend at Magness Arena.
The winner of the Raffle will get 50% of the money in the pool and the DU Hockey Alumni Association keeps the balance. They will use the proceeds for projects that benefit the DU hockey program, equipment donations and the like.
Only at the games, because selling them elsewhere would violate the Raffle/Bingo License that the school obtained from the City of Denver.
Former DU player Rod Summers is heading up the Alumni Association and he's been doing a great job. He organized the 60th reunion last season, the road trip to Minneapolis in Feb. and worked on the Raffle License.
Fans can always make a donation to the hockey program at www.denverpioneers.com and you usually get a nice hand written note from Coach Gwozdecky after the season.
One more thing, I would personally like thank DG and the entire staff of this Blog. You all have done a fantastic job, the site just seems to get better each year!
I'm with you on that Msbdu. This has become my social network. I don't do face book. This is my face book. I look for comments from you, Swam, Du 78, our leader D.G. and others who appear routinly. It's part of my morning coffee computer review. It's also the engine that has killed the chicken(mostly) and resurrected Boone so it's more than just talk.

We will need Boone this weekend. I believe it was last year when this weekend series developed into a series of brawls and pushing matches.
The AA players were taking shots at DU every chance they got. I can't remember every seeing the teams not shake hands on Saturday night. I don't expect anything less than that this weekend.
I suppose we can expect both Adam and Sam to play this weekend.
I couldn't be happier with where DU sits at this point in the season. Kudos to the outstanding freshmen and the leadership on the team--it's been a great year thus far. Hopefully we can stave off any more injury bugs and make a successful run into April.

Lots of people help out with the Blog especially du78. Many people send me email links to DU articles and content that we end up posting.

Yep.
Both nights and I believe at every remaining home game this season. The only possible snag is having enough volunteers to sell the tickets.

Gwozdecky mentioned in his News Conference today that he's really pleased with how Murray has been playing in his last three starts.
He also mentioned that he's not sure about who will start in goal on Friday.
