I expect Denver to be preseason #1 for 2011-12.
Better to start the season at #1 than end the season with a loss as Colorado College has done for 53 straight seasons.
Yea, that really did alot for the Pio's in 2009.
DU was #2 in the preseason polls in 2009. Miami was #1.

DU needs to recruit BIG kids, IMHO. If Gwozdecky is going to "tolerate" his teams starting games all year with these seemingly trademark-sloppy starts and then come from behind wins, he needs big bruiser guys who can knock people around and have guys bounce off of THEM for a change. I think right now and for the past couple years - they're going with speed, skill & flash for thier recruiting. Get some tanks on your battle field!! you can't have all Corvettes and Porsches on your lot. You need some big 4WD SUV's that can go through anything!!!!
Help is on the way.
DU has some big boys with fantastic skills coming in, Scott Mayfield (6'4 200), Zac Larraza (6'3 193), Daniel Doremus (6'1 190) & Josiah Didier (6'2 200) to name a few.
