DU Wins Men And Women's SBC Swimming Titles

Denver won its first-ever women's Sunbelt Conference team title with 924.5 total points while the men claimed its second overall team title and first since 2009 with 1009 total points.

"I couldn't be more excited about our kids' performances over the last four days," said head coach Brian Schrader. "Both the men's and women's teams posted some incredible finishes, turning in NCAA B cut times, conference records and new DU records. It's fun that both of our teams were able to win the title in the same year."

Schrader was tabbed the women's SBC Coach of the Year, while junior Clayton Myers was named the men's Swimmer of the Year. Second-year diving coach Aaron D'Addario was named the men's Diving Coach of the Year, while senior Seth McNew was named the men's Diver of the Year.
