Any alumni willing to fly some passionate DU students out to Green Bay?

Ask for frequent flier miles. You might get some interest.

UNLEASH THE MERMIS!

I agree unleash the Mermis.

These are enterprising young college students. Call their relatives and get some miles put in their account.

Try Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Madison or Chicago. Where there is a will there is a way.

Rent an economy car with unlimited mileage in Denver from Hotwire.com for $10.95 per day.

Drive 1,100 miles to Green Bay with two friends. Expect to pay $80 gas per person. Add $25 per person for the car.

Hand the car back in on Monday in Denver and watch the clerks face when she sees you've put 2,500 miles on the car.

You're only young once.

If you are passionate about D.U. hockey like you claim, you will jump on the above D.G. suggestion. A straight through drive of about 1000 miles is easyfor you young students.

D.G. maybe they are not that passionate and just looking for a freebie air plane ticket.

Hey, if they get a ticket they deserve it. You have to explore all your options.

I drove with a friend from Houston to Boston and back for the Frozen Four in 2004. We had a blast.

When I was a student at DU we drove from Denver to Vegas to Baja, Mexico in a rented van. Best. Trip. Ever.

You found the third guy in the toga picture wandering the streets? Maybe it was just a guy that after an entire night of drinking thought it would be a great idea to steal the sheets off the hotel bed to join you. And why not!

That's a joke boy.
