It will be just like old times for Toronto Maple Leafs center Tyler Bozak when the NHL team practices Wednesday at Magness Arena. The Regina native played two seasons at the University of Denver before being signed by the Leafs. The team was scheduled to fly to Denver immediately following Tuesday’s game to prepare for a date with the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.

Bozak commented on his Twitter Account at 2 AM, "Just landed in Denver. Can't wait to see all the friends."

Bozak frequently tweets about the fortunes of the NCAA Pioneers, where he was an all-star player, WCHA academic performer, still takes off-season classes towards his degree and trains with the Avalanche’s Paul Stastny in the summer.

Great to hear about former players attending summer classes to complete their degrees.

Does anybody know what time they are practicing? If it's open to the public?

I do, but we are still waiting for your breakdown on Larkinson's game.

It is admirable when players take summer classes and finish their degrees. Sure, it requires huge effort but in the long run it is more than rewarding. Bozak is a nice example that it is posible to play NHL and acquire higher education at the same time.

Love see Bozak and Crabb on the same line grinding it out. Go Leafs Go!
