DU Lacrosse 11 - Ohio State 6 FINAL

University of Denver's Chase Carraro scored three times and won 14 of 20 face-offs, leading the Pioneers to an 11-6 win over Ohio State in front of a season-high 3,372 Saturday afternoon in the 8th Annual Rocky Mountain Showdown at INVESCO Field at Mile-High.

Great atmosphere. DU student tickets sold out for this, with a rowdy tailgate scene. DU dancers performed as well.

I would estimate over 400 DU students were among the crowd of 3,300 at Mile high.

This team might host an NCAA tourney game - that would be a tough ticket...

The tailgating was great. The hockey team should look into doing something at the Pepsi Center.
