University of Denver seniors Kyle Ostrow and Anthony Maiani signed professional contracts for the remainder of the 2010-11 regular season.
Ostrow has signed with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League, while Maiani inked a deal with the Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League. Both players could make their professional debuts on Saturday night.

Pretty cool. Thankfully they waited until the season was over. Makes complete sense though. School's over - they need jobs. And again I say...they are so lucky to be doing what they love and getting paid to do it.
We wish both of them nothing but the best. The have been great representatives of DU for the past four years.
I hope to hear more from them as they begin a new phase in their life.
Year end year out we send more boys to the Pro's than any other team.
They should wait. Neither is big enough to play in the pros.

Good for them! They deserve it! Awesome to hear Maiani scored in his first pro game as well! Best of luck to both of them
