That was one of the most epic DU sports events I've ever seen, and certainly the best outdoor one, ever.

I'm a bit ticked at ESPN. The game was originally on my Cable box schedule to be on ESPNU which is a HD channel for my system. Turned on the TV and one of the other lacrosse game was on in the second period. ESPN announced that the DU game was no on ESPN Classic which is a lower tier non-HD cannel. Talk about an east coast bias.

I did watch the first period until I had to leave for a youth travel bball game. It would have been nice if the cameras were set up on the players side so you could see the crowd.

It wasn't ESPNs fault or eastern bias.

UVA vs Bucknell (the game on before DU) was weather delayed at the start and also went OT later. ESPNU had no choice but to bump the DU/Villanova game to another ESPN channel until the first game ended. The DU game went back to ESPNU for the second half.
