Notre Dame Reportedly Wants Seven-Team League

From: Iron Mountain Daily News

It appears the University of Notre Dame is going to be headed to the college hockey Super League if an article in the Iron Mountain Daily News is accurate.

Currently the unnamed conference contains six members including DU, Miami, North Dakota, Colorado College, Nebraska-Omaha and Minnesota-Duluth.
"Notre Dame remains uncommitted to any conference at this time and is pressing for a smaller league that features a larger non-conference slate, according to multiple Mining Journal sources. The Irish are looking for a seven-team league with a 24-game conference schedule in order to fill the rest of their dates with meetings against fellow Bowl Championship Subdivision member Boston College and the Big Ten schools."

I hope the Gophers don't join the Big Ten potential conference and come to ours. It would be nice to have them in our super-conference making it 8 assuming ND follows through.

Won't happen dude. Big Ten is the most done part of this deal.

Notre Dame is now telling potential recruits they are most likely heading to the Super League.

Odds are now 90% Notre Dame will be in the new league.
