Hey... we have to get by McGill and USA first LOL. This IS good news though for those of us who won't be going to Boston. Although, they'll just patch into the Boston TV feed, which as usual will be highly biased towards the home team.

Watch yo' mouth about the Frenchmen from McGill! They're coming to Colorado beaten, deflated and already hungry... they're 0-2 thus far in the pre-season and no doubt looking for redemption...... and it starts on Saturday night with DU. Like it or not, the Pioneers are in the crosshairs. Thier Coach was at the Red Wings' camp a couple weeks ago.... so you know he's ready to get a W

Winning or losing against McGill means nothing. Getting on the ice as a team, gaining experience for the freshmen and getting out without injury is the most important thing.

4:30 - we'll see. I think the Pioneers will give a much better effort than last year. Even if we lose it will be a good learning experience for a young and talented team that will pay dividends come tournament time.

McGill's video coach is Chris LaPerle - a former Pio volunteer assistant coach with the 2004 National Champions. He knows Gwoz systems, and I doubt the Pios have seen any film on McGill this year.

I am expecting a very close game.

Remember, the Pios were taken to the woodshed by Lethbridge last year 5-2 in the Canadian exhibition game.. The Pios barely beat Calgary 3-2 the year before in 2009, and beat Alberta 5-4 in 2008 on a last second game-winner goal by Wiercioch.
