National Publicity Rolls In For Phil Heath

(above) DU Alum Phil Heath was spotted on AOL.com today
The nationwide publicity is rolling in for DU Alum Phil Heath who was recently crowned 2011 Mr. Olmypia.  AOL.com featured Phil in his DU uniform today, while Sporting News and Bleacher Report had articles about him this week.

Thanks to a tip from a loyal reader who heard Phil talking about DU on a local radio program, LetsGoDU was the first online source to post a photo of Phil from his playing days at DU.  Since that time, the article and photo has received thousand of visits from all over the world.

Here we are all bitching about the Root TV ice hockey coverage, and this dude is on every flipping channel and media outlet. I'd like to arm wrestle him. LOL
FYI, McGill U squares off against Prince Edward Island tonight and tomorrow night, before packing thier bags to face Captain Drew & Dusty's boys right here in "Denvuh" on what will be the first of a 3-nights-in-a-row stand in Colorado with the Pioneers, Tigers and Falcons. Those Red-wearin' MoFo's will be damn happy to get out of the USA when it's all said & done.

The McGill Redmen fall to the Panthers tonight in an overtime shoot out. It hardly gets any easier for them as they head to Magness Arena next weekend.

Clearly McGill was looking past P.E.I. to get a shot at DU.

McGill ia one of the better Canadian University hockey programs - and remember what happened last year when DU played Lethbridge! (we got smoked by an average Canadian program).

DU needs to be ready.

The Prince Edward Island Panthers host the Redmen again this evening for game 2. Last night they packed 312 Panther fans into the stands; no doubt, the McGill freshmen will be awestuck by the seemingly massive DU crowd they'll encounter a week from now.
