Team USA in a dogfight. They looked decent on the last PP, but overall this has been another subpar performance. Loads of PP time, but there are a lot of guys standing around, going through the motions, and not creating any good chances. Some sloppy play by our d-men has lead to scoring chances and goals for the Czechs.
I just don't see a lot of urgency/fire/passion from this team. Not sure what they are waiting for. Are they saving their energy for tomorrow? Tomorrow won't matter much without a W today.
USA GM Tim Taylor agrees with You. Said USA is not playing their game.
Coach Blais said US is nervous.
Ouch 5-2 loss.
Lets hope Union doesn't do this to the Pioneers tonight.

Really not good... last thing I expected to see is us fight just to stay in the tournament.
Needless to say, this US team crapped the bed. Not sure if this team came into the tournament overconfident, or maybe it was something else. Hard to figure. There just wasn't enough effort/fire/determination/grit to win against elite competition. And when the effort was there, the execution lacked. I'd like to be a fly on the wall in that locker room.
Huge disappointment for USA Hockey and those of us who love this tournament and follow the NCAA contingent.
Blame this debacle on Blais and the rest of the coaches. Clearly this team was not ready to play. Embarrassing.
And I'll add again that Canadian hockey fans are idiots. I hope their hockey team loses in the semis.
I think your plan to clean up the blog is working DG. We haven't seen many anonymous posts except for unknown @ 6:10 and anonevermore but I'm not sure she counts. Anonevermore is a girl right (the name seems kind of feminine). Also, we haven't heard a word from that clown mexico all day.
I also like the fact that you can edit your post after making it. We didn't have that option when we were all just anonymous. Also, I love having a cool picture next to my name!
The other thing I like is when someone like "unknown" posts a dbag comment it shows up in my email! That means that I still have a copy when he deletes it!

Bigbossman, very subtle hint with the picture of the Mexican flag on the Superman symbol. Am I correct to conclude that BBM = Superman while Ron Mexico = Clark Kent? i.e. they are both the same guy.
That's pretty funny Imaws Kcup. It would be even better if it were true. We are not the same guy. BBM is a DU fan but I'm not sure he is being completely honest about who he really is. I just wanted to mess with him a little bit yesterday. He was a good sport about it.
