DU needs to get healthy and cohesive this week.

All we need is a little four game winning streak....

1. Get Simple: We have enough firepower to win the regional. Get to net, use oiour speed, win puck battles and keep shooting. Back check, block shots and make each shift count.

2. Play Smart. No need for dumb penalties this time of year. Don't put yourself in positions for killer CFB ejections.

3. Play Hard. This is no time for coasting and slow starts. Attack. Keep feet moving. Wear the other guy down.

According to today's Press Conference DU had NINE players miss practice with injuries.

Each of the nine will be gameday decisions.

Hard to believe that we started the season with seven defensemen and the question was which guys would see reduced playing time.

Now we're ending the season and the question is which forwards may be pressed into duty on the blueline.

The injury situation continues to be a concern. I assume the following are on that list:

Bennett
Makowski
Knowlton
Zucker
Didier
Phillips

Any guess who the others are?

What happened to Wade Bennett? Was he red shirted?

Hey look on the bright side - Danny Olzewski's got a clean bill of health!

This is going to be a tough run for the boys. Ferris is rested and we may be playing two forwards on defense. This is the most worried I have been heading into the first round in a long time.

If they can hold it together this weekend, it will be epic. Unfortunately, there is no time to heal this week. If we can scratch by, we may have a bunch of 'em back for the Frozen Four.

The Pioneer nation is holding its collective breath! There is no quit in this team...

What's with Wade Bennett? Eligibility issues? Will he be here next year?

I am optimistic that DU will have enough guys to compete in Green Bay.

I'm trying to track down a report that the DU plane was delayed taking off this morning, pending the arrival of a large FedEx package from Lourdes. If true, I'm pretty sure it wasn't wine.

Probably waiting for the remedy for underachievement for the flight home on Friday night.

Altitude does not have the game on their schedule

It is listed on DirecTV channel guide and I've posted a photo listing the game.

Is anyone planning to meet up with co14ers tomorrow afternoon at Boone's Tavern to play a few rounds of ookie cookie?

All I ask is DU put everything on the table, represent and show why we are one of the elite teams in all of college hockey. Take down Ferris State and take one step at a time. Good Luck Denver!

Question. If DU wins today, is the only TV choice for Saturday ESPNU? Is there any chance Root or Comcast 5 would pick up the game?

Best of luck to the Pios! If any of the injured players can play it will be a big boost.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's any chance that ESPN would syndicate a game they are already showing live on one of their channels.

If you have Comcast, you either already have, or can get ESPNU. I have the upgraded sports package and get ESPNU in HD (not sure if this comes standard or only with the upgraded package). Just buy it for the day + Frozen Four and cancel afterwards.

You can watch @watchespn.com if you have a Comcast login. If you can stand these GD announcers, they must be from Ferris St!
