Lots of lax connections between DU and the Broncos.
Broncos owner Pat Bowlen sits on the DU Board of Trustees and helped recruit Bill Tierney here. And DU plays Mile-High games and has a great relationship with the Denver Outlaws because of Bowlen.
Also, John Elway's daughter, Jordan, played part of a lax season at DU in 2009 after transferring from UVA. She is now in nursing school and coaching at Regis College.
