Can't wait to see who the Avs pick up. Lots of good young players and they'll be adding another instant contributor, hopefully. The way they were in the mix for the last spot in the playoffs before running out of steam really makes me excited for next season.

Provided there isn't a 'work stoppage'.... >:)

Thank you for your sterling contribution.

One of LaLonde's Gamblers went #25 to St. Louis. Also, the USANTDP had a pretty good showing - for round 1 anyways

Is this he first time we have not had a first round draft pick?

That would be Jordan Schmaltz..... UND recruit..:)

Second round? Third round? Fourth round?

Yay for LaLeggia! - He's on the menu! Edmonton Oilers, #125 in the 5th round. He's a bit small for an NHL Dman; personally I think Gwoz should move him to wing, and let him fly around in open spaces. He'd be a very good winger. But then, the Oilers didn't grab him to be a winger, did they? JL's only gonna get better

Chevy was inolved in a trade today. Forgot which team he ended up being traded to. It was like 3 guys for 1 or something like that

Impressive draft for DU incoming freshman.

One of the multitude of reasons why DU fans are superior to the undie whioux fans:

We have no need to troll other teams' message boards.

If DU had more than 3 fans that actually cared to talk about them on the internet, it'd be a different story.

Luckily for the rest of the college hockey world, Colorado residents just don't give a damn about DU because they got like other stuff to follow. Go Nuggets!

Quentin Shore, I believe, will still be draft-eligible in Newark next summer. By all means, correct me if I'm wrong. So there's still a very real possibility that the 3 brothers will all be draftees. Another interesting development, was the Islanders 1st pick. There's a very high probability that Griffin Reinhart and Matty Donovan will have roster spots on Long Island.

For once in the history of mankind, Barry Melrose actually spoke somewhat intelligently, and I actually agreed with his horses-mouth comments. He pointed out many current NHL stars who were in fact late round, Saturday afternoon draft picks. Zetturbug, Marchant, LaPerrier to name just a few.
