If you are looking for a fun spot to watch the game, come up to Beau Jo's Pizza in Idaho Springs where we will be showing the game on the big screen! Come on in on your way to the mountains.
Wisconson's 3rd leading scorer Mark Zengerle won't be in the lineup for the series opener Friday due to stitches in his finger. Saturday night will be a game-time decision. Zengerle has indicated it’s more likely he’ll return for the Dec. 7-8 home series against Michigan Tech.
Star Freshman Nic Kerdiles will be in the lineup for Wisconsin after sitting out a 10-game NCAA suspension for accepting gifts from an agent.
It's always good to be excited and looking forward to playing any game... but the DU players damn well better be concentrating on their game preparedness and not the TV cameras, and not be thinking if Grandma or Uncle Jack are watching back home. Let the Badger players be worried about getting camera time lol
Redemption time for DU after last weekend's mess. All of a sudden, after the terrific start, this team is facing a little adversity. Two ugly home losses last weekend, another suspension, and now the injury to Didier. Time for the leaders to lead and everyone else to pull their weight.
Another uninspired effort. Much of the game was actually rather boring. It's becoming a standard of Gwoz' teams: go through motions for 2.9 periods and then pour it on at the end. Works in boxing (sometimes), not so in hockey. DU needs to learn to put-out for 60 mins. While most of this year's offense is admittedly riding around on AHL buses, we need more on-ice mins of full effort.

According to Mike Chambers of the Denver Post, Josiah Didier is out three to six weeks because of a high-ankle sprain suffered last week.

The M.O. against Sconnie is to jump out to an early lead and challenge them to score goals.
As Frank the Tank likes to say, "They have difficulty putting the biscuit in the basket."
I come here for DU hockey news, and there are no results posted the morning after the game again ... very lame.
